We got off to an great start and had and easy trip down to Dalton. Actually got here earlier than we expected. The ride was fairly odd since we had two vans of all guys and one van of all gals (with Slim driving....please pray for his healing)
Once down here it was mostly hanging out, getting to know each other, play some games and eat. A few of us (Michael Dechane, Brian Land and Kristen) went out to scout the work projects. Things have changed a bit but they are good. We'll have two houses instead of one. One house has a dozen projects in store for the week, some of them pretty major (like a total bathroom renovation including toilet, but, floor, walls etc.). This house is the "Annette/Loise house". The other is Yvonne's house (single 65 year old lady who could not be any nicer). Michael is heading up some massive insulation work, replacing cabinetry and renovating a bathroom. Hard but very do-able.
Great first day...all is well.
Pray for us tomorrow as we get everything ready for the first day of crazy work on Monday.
